Club Car completes successful 2014 EMEIA Sales Training Tour

Following the introduction of its latest Precedent i3 model, Club Car’s new golf car with connected technology, and a restyled and reengineered line of Carryall utility vehicles, the world’s largest manufacturer of small-wheel, zero-emissions electric vehicles embarked on a bespoke “2014 Sales Training Tour” in EMEIA to help further strengthen the company’s distribution position in the region’s markets.

The recent Club Car Sales Training Tour, designed and executed by Billy Dakuras, Director of Sales and Channel Development, and  Francesco Cattaneo, Marketing EMEIA, attracted more than 100 dealer salespeople, representing 21 nationalities throughout Club Car’s EMEIA network.

The sessions, held in Dubai (UAE), Malaga (Spain), Leeds (United Kingdom) and Vienna (Austria), provided engaging, hands-on training and instruction.

“The regional approach allowed us to taylor our training to the respective areas and focus more on their specific market needs,” said Billy Dakuras. Francesco Cattaneo added: “ The salespeople were very receptive to the hands-on technique which led to greater participation and best practice sharing.”

The success of the EMEIA Sales Training Tour has triggered further initiatives in this field to increase the reach and frequency of such sessions.
