A ‘lucky’ Ryder Cup golf car used by European Solheim Cup captain Alison Nicholas previously played a frontline role at the 2006 Ryder Cup, it has been revealed.

The vehicle was one of 179 Club Car golf carts supplied to the Solheim Cup at Killeen Castle by The Buggyman, Ireland’s leading golf car specialist, which also provided cars for the Ryder Cup at The K Club five years ago. Read more

Marc Dufour has been named president of Club Car, an Ingersoll Rand brand. Dufour will have overall responsibility for the operational performance and strategic direction of the golf car and utility vehicle manufacturer.
